PETALING JAYA:
Graphic artist and activist Fahmi Reza’s TikTok account is back online after it was taken down by the social media platform.

Earlier today, he claimed in a post on X that his TikTok account was banned while he was livestreaming a lecture for students at the Universiti Malaya campus.

It is unclear what policy violations Fahmi had allegedly committed.

However, according to TikTok’s website, the owner of a banned account may still log in to submit an appeal.

FMT has reached out to TikTok for comment.

Before his account went back online, some netizens posted on his X account that he should not be too critical of the government while others expressed support for his activism.
