Pakistani man stabbed to death in Penang

Police are looking for the suspect and investigating the cause of the incident in Pulau Tikus.

A Pakistani man died after being stabbed in Pulau Tikus here today.

Acting northeast district police chief Lee Swee Sake said the incident happened at about 5pm.

“The 48-year-old victim was taken to a private clinic on Jalan Datuk Keramat by his friend before he died at about 6pm. His body has been sent to the Penang Hospital for a post-mortem,” Lee told Bernama.

He said further an investigation was were underway, including tracking down the attacker and determining the cause of the incident.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
