Water cuts for 60,000 accounts in Seremban after pipe bursts

Repair works are ongoing while water tankers and static tanks have been deployed to the affected areas.

PETALING JAYA:
Nearly 60,000 accounts in parts of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, are experiencing water cuts after a major water pipe in front of the Jalan Jelebu Petronas petrol station burst yesterday.

The state water authority, Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan, said repair works are about 80% complete as of this evening.

It said water tankers and static tanks have been deployed to the affected areas.

The areas are Seremban 2, S2 Heights, Taman Rasah Kemayan, Taman Bukit Kepayang, Taman Mantau Indah 1-3, Jalan Labu Batu 1-9, Jalan Sungai Ujong, Jalan Labu Lama, Taman Permai Kemayan Square, Bandar Seremban, Templer and Lobak.
