In a statement, NPC said the event will be held at the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort on Nov 26.
This will be the first time a royal couple would be participating in an event hosted by NPC.
NPC president Ahirudin Attan was quoted as saying that the annual golfing event is making a comeback after a seven-year hiatus.
“Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to put this on hold. With the pandemic now behind us, we have revived this event,” he said.
The tournament, which is expected to attract 120 participants, is aimed at strengthening the relationship between the NPC, the government, corporate sector and the media.
“We hope to include in our list of participants, Cabinet members, foreign dignitaries, captains of industry, senior editors (past and present), journalists and other professionals,” Ahirudin said.
The event will have three categories — men’s, ladies and seniors. The seniors category will be for golfers aged 65 and above.
Entry fee is RM450 for NPC members and RM600 for non-members.
Registration forms are now available at the NPC’s Clubhouse at 84, Jalan Tangsi, off Jalan Parlimen, or by contacting 012-632 0061.
