PETALING JAYA: A 35-year old foreigner has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting and kidnapping a nine-year-old girl in Seri Kembangan.
Serdang police chief AA Anbalagan said the suspect had molested the girl at about 11pm while she was playing with her friends not far from where her father was at work.
The suspect was arrested soon after. “A check found that he was in possession of pornographic material and did not have valid documents,” Anbalagan said.
Police will seek a remand order to hold him in custody until Sept 27.
