PETALING JAYA: Police found the body of a security guard in the boot of a car at Jalan Pasir, Taman Pertama, Sabak Bernam, yesterday.
Sabak Bernam police chief Robin Guha Thakurta said a patrol unit found the man unconscious in a Proton Saga BLM by the roadside at 6.04pm.
Harian Metro reported him as saying that further investigation showed that the 43-year-old man was working in Sabak Bernam.
Robin said an examination by the Selangor police’s forensic unit confirmed there were criminal elements in the victim’s death.
He said the police had opened an investigation paper under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
