
KUALA LUMPUR: Olympic Council of Malaysia president Norza Zakaria was elected the Olympic Council of Asia vice-president for Southeast Asia today.
Norza won the post unopposed for the 2024-2028 term at the OCA general assembly in New Delhi, India, an OCM statement said.
OCM deputy president Hamidin Amin said Norza’s election was testament to his leadership and dedication to the Olympic movement.
Raja Randhir Singh of India, a five-time Olympian, was elected unopposed as the new OCA president. The positions of president, five vice-presidents and five executive board members were all uncontested.
