PETALING JAYA:
Pahang residents are invited to witness a historic moment as the state assembly begins its first-ever live broadcast tomorrow.

State assembly deputy speaker Lee Chin Chen said the live broadcasts would provide the public direct access to the discussions and decision-making processes, enhancing transparency and accountability.

“With the introduction of live broadcasts, the public can directly observe discussions and debates on key policies and issues impacting their daily lives,” he said in a statement today.

“This initiative aligns with the unity government’s goal to strengthen the relationship between the public and leaders through enhanced access to information and democratic processes.”

Noting that the Pahang state assembly had never conducted live broadcasts since its establishment, Lee said this move reflected the unity government’s commitment to reform and technological advancement.

The live broadcasts will be available on the official Facebook account – Dewan Negeri Pahang.
