In a statement, the company said the trial period would be held from Sept 2 until Jan 3 next year, with its Glenmarie centre to be open from 7am to 11pm daily.
Customers may set appointments from tomorrow through its website at http://www.mypuspakom.com.my/.
Currently, Puspakom centres are open from 8am to 5.30pm.
The extended operating hours is aimed at meeting the rising demand for vehicle inspections.
“We are trying to extend our operating hours to reduce congestion at Puspakom branches, which have a high traffic volume.
“For a start, we have chosen our Glenmarie branch for the trial period to identify ways we can improve (our service),” said Puspakom CEO Mahmood Razak Bahman.
He said the company would implement the longer operating hours at other branches if this initiative is well-received by customers.
