PETALING JAYA: A woman was burned to death after a fire in a room at a Taman Paramount apartment this evening.
Selangor fire and rescue department assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department was notified about the blaze at 5.42pm.
Ten firefighters from the Damansara fire station rushed to the scene, where the fire was burning in a room on the first floor of the apartment.
Mukhlis said the woman was 60% burned while the fire only involved the bed and mattress in the room, not the building’s structure.
