
Johor police chief M Kumar said police found the items while searching the home of the man, aged 31, in Kulai, Malay-language daily Kosmo reported.
He said the suspect will be investigated under Section 10 of the Sexual Offences against Children Act 2017 for accessing or possessing child pornography, punishable by up to five years in prison, a fine of up to RM10,000, or both, upon conviction.
The suspect will also be investigated under Section 292 of the Penal Code for possessing obscene materials, punishable by up to three years in prison, a fine, or both, if convicted.
Police had found the man with Albertine, who went missing at a shopping mall in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, on July 20, at a budget hotel in Batang Kali, Selangor, on July 23.
He was remanded for seven days, later extended by six days, for investigation under Section 365 of the Penal Code and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
Police also arrested four other suspects – two men and two women, aged 28 to 55 – who were released on police bail on July 26.
