PETALING JAYA:
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has denied that its chief commissioner Azam Baki had made allegations against an enforcement agency to several media outlets and government agencies.

In a statement today, the anti-graft agency said the allegations, which involved a director-general of an enforcement department, were made in an email sent from a fake account using Azam’s name.

“MACC denies that the information has anything to do with the chief commissioner and the commission.

“Therefore, the public is urged not to spread any unverified or false information,” the statement read.
