SUNGAI PETANI: Police are hunting for four male robbers believed to have taken pieces of jewellery from a goldsmith shop at a shopping mall in Bakar Arang near here yesterday.
Kuala Muda police chief Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail said they were alerted to the incident at 4.45pm yesterday.
“Two female employees at the premises were approached by three masked suspects, who were also wearing gloves. Another suspect waited in a white Myvi,” he said in a statement.
He said the suspects fled with numerous pieces of jewellery. The estimated losses are still being ascertained.
No one was injured during the incident, he said.
