PETALING AYA: Police have arrested a woman with partial vision after her 8-year-old daughter was shown in a viral video to be sitting on the window sill of a moving car.
Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said a report was filed yesterday about the child’s dangerous actions, which was recorded in a 28-second video posted online on June 21.
He said police arrested the child’s mother, aged 46, and seized the vehicle involved this evening. The woman is blind in one eye while the child is mentally disabled, said Naazron.
An investigation paper has been opened for neglect of a child and for endangerment of life or personal safety.
