The by-election for the Sungai Bakap state seat in Penang will be held on July 6, with nominations taking place on June 22.
The seat fell vacant following the death of PAS assemblyman Nor Zamri Latiff on May 24.
In the previous general election, Pejuang fielded 67 candidates for parliamentary seats. All, including Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Mukhriz, lost their deposits.
All of Pejuang’s 33 state assembly candidates also lost their deposits.
Previously, the party fielded 42 candidates in the Johor election, all losing their deposits.
