
It is understood that the lorry crashed into the vehicles, causing a traffic jam at the scene, reported Berita Harian.
Kulim fire and rescue station chief Hamizul Azwan Hamdan said they received a call about the accident at around 7.37am and immediately dispatched a 10-member team to the scene.
“Upon arrival, it was found that the accident involved 13 vehicles. Four victims, including a woman, were rescued by the public before the team arrived.
“All of them were sent to Kulim Hospital by ambulance for treatment,” he said in a statement today.
Hamizul added that his team had cleared the road to ensure the area was safe for traffic.
