PETALING JAYA:
The water supply in 41 areas in Kuala Langat hit by disruptions last night will be fully restored by midnight, says Air Selangor.

The water company said the Labohan Dagang water treatment plant resumed operations today following a temporary shutdown due to urgent electrical repairs at the Olak Lempit main substation by Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

“Water supply has been restored in stages to consumers’ premises. As of 12pm, the recovery status of the water supply in the affected areas had reached 31.7%,” it said in a statement.

Air Selangor said water tankers would continue to be mobilised to affected areas, with critical premises like hospitals, dialysis centres and funeral homes prioritised.

The affected areas can be found here.
