Penang PAS commissioner Fauzi Yusoff, who is also the Sungai Dua assemblyman, said he was informed about Nor Zamri’s condition by his family.
“I was told that he experienced stomach pain and was taken to the Sungai Bakap Hospital two days ago, but was transferred to HSJ the same day,” he said.
“Nor Zamri is currently receiving treatment in the ICU and is sedated, and I understand it is still not possible to visit him at the moment.
“We are getting updates on his condition from his family members from time to time.”
Nor Zamri, who is also the Nibong Tebal PAS chief, won the Sungai Bakap seat in the last state election with a 1,563-vote majority against Pakatan Harapan’s candidate Nurhidayah Che Rose.
