PETALING JAYA: A businessman won a total of RM7.4 million in the Magnum Life grand prize by betting RM1 on the birthdates of his wife and children.
The gaming company will pay the father of two the prize in instalments – RM1,000 everyday for the next 20 years.
The total amount includes a RM100,000 bonus for signing up for Magnum 4D’s exclusive membership programme.
“Winning this prize is a dream come true for my family and I,” he said, according to a statement issued by Magnum 4D today.
He said he had been consistently betting on the same numbers since his youngest child was born in 2022.
He intends to put his newfound wealth into investments and buying a home.
A Magnum 4D spokesman said the company was delighted to see an M Premium member’s dream come true.
“We look forward to celebrating more exciting wins with our members,” the company said.
