PETALING JAYA:
PKR has announced the establishment of a secretariat to review the party’s constitution and affirm its direction and future.

“The secretariat will also provide views and suggestions on current issues arising in the country’s politics,” party president Anwar Ibrahim said in a statement.

The prime minister said the secretariat has also been tasked with elevating and strengthening PKR, and coordinating movements at all levels of the party.

“Therefore, leaders and members of PKR are advised to work together to support PKR’s aspirations to champion the people’s rights and welfare for the future of the nation.”

The secretariat comprises Romli Ishak as senior political secretary, with Onn Abu Bakar, Sim Tze Tzin, G Manivannan and Juwairiya Zulkifli as fellow political secretaries.
