PETALING JAYA: Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) has launched an investigation after its page on X (formerly known as Twitter) was found following an account that shares lewd content.
When contacted, a DBP spokesman told FMT that it is in the midst of holding a “detailed investigation” into the matter.
He also said that DBP’s X account has unfollowed the lewd account in question.
The issue surfaced early this morning after an X user, @BN4everTN50, said DBP was following an account that posts lewd content on the social media platform.
Netizens took sarcastic jabs at the government agency after the matter came to light, with some urging DBP to clarify the matter.
