DBKL extends display period for 2040 city draft plan to April 15

City Hall agrees to public requests for more time for consultations.

PETALING JAYA:
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has extended the period for display of the draft Kuala Lumpur Local Plan 2040 by a further two weeks.

Mayor Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh said today the decision was made after considering the complexity of the draft plan and the ongoing requests to extend the public consultation period.

He said it has now been extended from April 2 to April 15.

Kamarulzaman said the public is encouraged to come to Menara DBKL1 to view the plan.

They can then submit their views through the official portal, he added.
