Tabung Haji depositor apologises over ‘missing funds’ claim

Tabung Haji has accepted an apology from a depositor who had alleged that funds in her account had gone missing.

The pilgrims fund board said it had provided a detailed explanation to the complainant backed by clear evidence. At a meeting in Kuching, Sarawak, today, the depositor, Datu Jabidah Monseri, “expressed regret and apologised”.

Media reports had said Tabung Haji had clarified that the depositor ‘s RM30,000 had been transferred to her bank account, instead of allegedly being transferred to other accounts.
