17 main roads in KL to be closed on Sunday for OCBC cycle challenge

The closure will be from 6.30am to 9am and will be done in stages.

Among the roads in Kuala Lumpur to be closed are Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Leboh Ampang, Jalan Munshi Abdullah, Jalan Dang Wangi, Jalan Sultan Ismail, and Jalan Tun Perak.
KUALA LUMPUR:
Seventeen main roads in the capital city will be closed for the OCBC Cycle Kuala Lumpur 2024 event on Sunday.

Among the roads are Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Leboh Ampang, Jalan Munshi Abdullah, Jalan Dang Wangi, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan P Ramlee, Jalan Kuching, Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar, Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Sultan Salahuddin, Jalan Kinabalu, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Ampang and Jalan Perak.

Kuala Lumpur traffic investigation and enforcement department deputy chief Suffian Abdullah said: “Just like last year, the police will assist in the management of traffic flow. The road closure from 6.30am to 9am will be done in stages.”

Meanwhile, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Bhd head of corporate communications Julius Evanson said the eighth edition of the OCBC Cycle KL challenge would see 2,700 participants start off from Dataran Merdeka.
