MELAKA:
A social media influencer known as Boss Mario has been reported missing after leaving his home at 3am yesterday. His car was later found parked in the Pantai Klebang area at 6pm, police said.

Melaka Tengah police chief Christopher Patit said a missing person’s report was filed on the disappearance of Yew Boon Xiang, 30, by his brother at 9.35pm yesterday.

The report was lodged by the brother when Yew, known as Boss Mario, did not answer phone calls when the brother arrived at Yew’s phone shop in Melaka Central at 8am.

“His repeated calls went unanswered, which is unusual. Due to this, his brother went to Boss Mario’s house in Taman Pertam Jaya, Semabok, to check on him, but he was not at home.

“Upon checking the security camera recordings, it was found that Yew left the house in his Honda City car at 3am. He later learned that the car, which was locked, was found parked in the Pantai Klebang area at 6pm,” Christopher said.

News of Boss Mario’s disappearance has gone viral on social media. He has about 222,000 followers on Facebook.
