PETALING JAYA:
Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah turned royal newsreaders during a visit to Media Prima Bhd earlier today.

A post on Istana Negara’s Facebook page said the royal couple were greeted by members of the Media Prima management, including chairman Syed Hussian Aljunid and CEO Rafiq Razali.

During the visit, the King and Queen were given a briefing and a guided tour of the news and entertainment channels under the Media Prima umbrella.

The royal couple also accepted an invitation by the Media Prima newsroom to read a segment of the news, which was broadcast on Buletin Utama tonight.

This was one of the last official engagements for the royal couple after five years as the King and Queen. Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar is due to ascend the throne at the end of the month.
