PETALING JAYA:
Petaling Jaya police are searching for a man they suspect sexually harassed a woman in the Kota Damansara area recently.

Petaling Jaya police chief Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said they received a police report about the incident yesterday at 4.37pm from one of their criminal investigation officers.

A 46-second video clip uploaded by X user @MALAYSIAVIRALLL showed a man on a motorcycle approaching a woman while she was walking down the street.

Fakhrudin said the man appeared to be masturbating while trying to engage the woman in conversation.

However, Fakhrudin said the woman had not filed a report.

“We advise the victim to come forward and file a police report to aid the investigation,” he said in a statement.

The case is being investigated for outrage of decency under Section 377D of the Penal Code.

Police also encourage anyone with information on the incident to contact them at 03-7966-2222.
