Syahir said the Marang MP is waiting to be discharged and has been advised to get proper rest after that, Berita Harian reported.
“Alhamdulillah, his condition is improving and he is allowed to get discharged from IJN,” the daily quoted him as saying.
Hadi, 76, was admitted to IJN for a heart checkup.
Syahir, who is also the Bachok MP, said Hadi’s condition would be monitored after he is discharged.
He also said Hadi has been spending his time writing on his Facebook page, following up on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and reading the Quran.
Despite many well-wishers wanting to visit Hadi, he said, IJN’s management had advised against it.
“We call on the community to keep praying for his health,” he said.
Hadi had been admitted to IJN for treatment several times over recent years, though the nature of his illness was not disclosed.
In July last year, he was admitted to a hospital in Kuala Terengganu. His son, Khalil, had said then that Hadi’s health was deteriorating, and asked the public to pray for his father’s recovery.
