State deputy immigration director Sharmanrizal Rustam said nine men, seven women, and a boy and girl from Myanmar were among those detained.
Others were from Thailand (16 men and 23 women); Bangladesh (18 men); Cambodia (one man and 10 women); and Indonesia (five men). Also arrested were a Pakistani man; a Lao woman; a Filipino woman and an Egyptian man.
He said immigration officials carried out inspections at 25 premises, including clothing shops, eateries, a car wash centre, an entertainment centre and a recreation centre.
Sharmanrizal said the migrants were detained on suspicion of having committed immigration offences, including not having valid documentation, overstaying and misusing visit passes.
