RM1.24m in Rolex watches, jewellery stolen from home

PETALING JAYA:
A businessman has reported losses amounting to RM1.24 million in a burglary in Taman Mansion, Ipoh, on Dec 12.

Ipoh police chief Yahaya Hassan said the 28-year-old business owner reported the loss of a collection of luxury watches of various brands, such as Rolex GMT Master II, IWC Annual Calendar Big Pilot Gold, jewellery, mobile phones and a laptop.

“The police are conducting a special operation to track down the suspects involved,” Bernama quoted him as saying in a statement today.

He said pictures of two men were being circulated to aid in the identification of the suspects.

He urged those with any information on the case to contact investigating officer Norazlina Rais Ahmad at 013-6282176 or the Ipoh police headquarters control centre at 05-2542222.
