Perak fully recovers from floods, fewer evacuees in Kelantan

KUALA LUMPUR:
The floods in Perak have receded, while the number of victims placed in temporary evacuation centres in Kelantan continues to decrease tonight.

In Perak, the last centre at Dewan Serbaguna Padang Tembak in Teluk Intan, which housed 39 victims from 10 families, was closed at 5pm.

In Kelantan, the number of flood victims in Pasir Mas declined to 2,316 from 729 families at nine centres as of 8pm.

According to the Kelantan disaster management secretariat, 3,077 people from 957 families were at 10 relief centres this morning.
