PETALING JAYA: The Sarawak government is spending RM71 million on the construction of the Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (Tegas) Digital Co-Living Nomad Lodge building in Kuching.
Sarawak premier Abang Johari Openg said this building will be equipped with facilities for the use of researchers and students conducting research at the Tegas Digital Village.
He said researchers and students sometimes “have to stay in to find inspiration” and this lodge would make it easier for them to rest, Bernama reported.
Abang Johari spoke after officiating the Sarawak Career and Training Fair (S-CaT Fair) 2023 at Wisma Sabati in Kuching today.
He said construction on the lodge had begun at the Samajaya High Technology Industrial Park and will be completed in 36 months.
