KUANTAN: Terengganu cycling coach Muslim Marzuki died in a road accident while accompanying the team during a training session for the Sukma Games at the Kuantan-Maran road here today.
Kuantan police chief Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu said Muslim, from Bandar Permaisuri, Terengganu, was accompanying the squad on a motorcycle during their run from Kuantan to Temerloh.
“The initial investigation revealed that the victim lost control of the motorcycle causing it to veer into the opposite lane and collide with a lorry,” Wan Zahari said. Muslim died at the scene.
