Muar police chief Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said the 17-year-old victim, who is still in school, lodged a police report last night saying that she had been raped by her father since she was six years old.

“The victim lodged a report saying that her father had raped her. She found out she was pregnant after a pregnancy test.

“The 41-year-old man was arrested by police after that,” Sinar Harian reported him as saying.

The suspect is being remanded for seven days until Nov 4 to assist in investigations.
