The former law minister says he will be quizzed under the Sedition Act.

Former law minister Zaid Ibrahim will be questioned by the federal police tomorrow.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Zaid said he would be investigated under the Sedition Act and for improper use of network facilities.

“Why can’t they be more charitable to a harmless old man like me? I like to tweet.

“We have no time nor inclination for mischief, no time to incite or cause harm to anyone,” he wrote.

Zaid told FMT that he is being probed over a Twitter post in August which touched on the royalty.
