Cops probing pig’s head incidents for provocation

PETALING JAYA:
Negeri Sembilan police are investigating an incident where a severed pig’s head was found in front of Perikatan Nasional’s operations centre in Juasseh.

Kuala Pilah police chief Amran Gani said the incident is being investigated for intentional insult with intent to provoke.

He also said police would be probing the incident under the Election Offences Act.

Earlier today it was reported that PN’s Juasseh candidate, Eddin Syazlee Shith found the pig’s head at his operations centre at 7.15am.

Another pig’s head was also placed outside the home of one of his aides.

Amran said two police reports were lodged on the matter.

“We want to advise the public against speculating about the incidents to avoid any confusion and interference with the investigation,” he said in a statement.

Amran also urged those with any information to contact the Kuala Pilah police station at 06-4842999 or the nearest police station.
