Bodies of 2 men, woman found in car at lay-by

Pagoh fire and rescue station commander says the victims, believed to be Myanmar nationals, were pulled out of the vehicle by the public.

BATU PAHAT:
The bodies of two men and a woman, believed to be Myanmar nationals, were found in a car at the Yong Peng lay-by (southbound) here last night.

Pagoh fire and rescue station operations commander Suhairulair Sarip said they received a distress call at about 9pm.

A team sent by the station found the bodies of the two men, aged 23 and 25, and the woman, aged 27.

“The windscreen of the car had been smashed by members of the public, who also removed the victims from the car.

“The victims were confirmed dead and handed over to the police for further action,” he said in a statement.
