PETALING JAYA:
A man alleged to have sexually harassed a woman in Sea Park last month has been arrested and remanded for four days to assist in an investigation.

Petaling Jaya district police chief Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the suspect was detained in Ara Damansara, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“On April 28, the police received a report from a woman in her 20s who was walking on a sidewalk when she was suddenly embraced from behind by a man.

“The suspect, who wore black clothing and a facemask, then fled the scene,” Fakhrudin was quoted as saying.

Following an investigation into the case, the police were able to arrest the suspect at around 10.15pm last Friday.

Fakhrudin said the suspect is also wanted for two other similar cases in Wangsa Maju and Kelana Jaya.
