PETALING JAYA: The unity government will be holding a convention focused on the economy, nation-building and women’s role at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur on May 14.
The convention, titled “Malaysia Madani: Envisaging Malaysia’s Future” was finalised by the unity government’s women’s leadership council at its first meeting at Menara Dato’ Onn, Kuala Lumpur, today.
The meeting was co-chaired by Wanita Barisan Nasional chief Noraini Ahmad and Wanita Pakatan Harapan chief Aiman Athirah Sabu.
In a statement, the women’s leadership council said it hoped the unity government’s agenda, based on the concept of Malaysia Madani, would be strengthened at the convention.
Also present at the meeting were women leaders from both PH and BN component parties.
