PETALING JAYA:
Kedah menteri besar Sanusi Nor will continue leading the state administration if PAS maintains its hold on Kedah in the upcoming state election.

“Kedah PAS firmly states that Sanusi will continue being our poster boy for the state election and he will continue leading the state’s administration if we are voted in,” the party’s state commissioner Ahmad Yahaya said in a statement.

“The continued support from Kedahans will be the catalyst for Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) victory here and it is not impossible that our mission will have a direct impact on other Pakatan Harapan (PH) states, such as Penang.”

Ahmad pointed out that Sanusi’s strong stance and steadfastness in protecting the state’s interest and placing political pressure on his opponents is one of the reasons behind his popular support.

He then accused the PH-led federal administration of conducting “character assassinations” against Sanusi, seeing that they lack any political capital to take the firebrand politician down.
