
PETALING JAYA: An aide to human resources minister V Sivakumar has been arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), says a source.
The source said the aide, one of Sivakumar’s senior officers, was detained along with a foreign worker recruitment agent.
It is believed that their arrest is in connection with an investigation linked to the recruitment of foreign workers.
FMT has reached out to Sivakumar’s office and MACC for confirmation.
Meanwhile, MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki confirmed to The Vibes that an aide to the minister had been arrested.
