PETALING JAYA: A foreigner has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old girl in December last year.
The suspect, a 48-year old newspaper vendor, was arrested yesterday in Ampang Jaya.
Ampang Jaya police chief Farouk Eshak said the suspect had entered the victim’s house at 7am before proceeding to the girl’s room.
“The suspect then groped her body, hands, and legs, and hugged her as well. After that, he gave her RM50 as a reward,” he said, according to Utusan Malaysia.
Farouk said the suspect has been remanded for seven days.
