Water supply in Klang, Shah Alam to be fully restored by 6am tomorrow

Supply was disrupted by repair work on a burst pipe in Taman Mutiara Bukit Raja 2, Klang, last night.

Air Selangor has advised consumers to let the taps run until the water is clear before using it for daily use.
SHAH ALAM:
Water supply to 55 areas in Shah Alam and Klang, disrupted by repair work on a burst pipe in Taman Mutiara Bukit Raja 2, Klang, last night, is being restored in stages.

The restoration was at 25.5% as of 3pm today.

Air Selangor Sdn Bhd expected supply to be fully restored by 6am tomorrow, depending on the location and distance of the consumers’ premises.

“Air Selangor would like to advise consumers to let the taps run until the water is clear before using it for daily use.

“Air Selangor hopes consumers who receive water supply will use it prudently to ensure the restoration process in the affected areas goes smoothly as scheduled,” its statement posted on Facebook said.
