Penang PH to meet on Sunday for election talks

After their internal meeting, coalition leaders will have seat negotiations with state leaders of Barisan Nasional.

Leaders of Penang Pakatan Harapan are expected to meet on April 2 in preparation for the state assembly elections later this year.

Penang PH chairman, Chow Kon Yeow said the meeting is scheduled to be attended by all leaders of PH component parties to discuss cooperation before negotiations are held with the state Barisan Nasional.

PH and BN are partners in Anwar Ibrahim’s coalition government.

Chow said PH will hold discussions and negotiations with Penang BN on seat allocation for the state elections.

Penang, Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan and Terengganu will hold elections to their state assemblies this year.
