
PETALING JAYA: A plane carrying passengers belonging to Cebu Pacific made an emergency landing at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport late last night.
According to a report in Harian Metro, the Airbus A320 aircraft carrying 92 passengers from the Philippines was scheduled to land in Singapore at midnight. However, the pilot had to make an emergency landing at KKIA at around 10.22pm due to problems with the right engine.
The report said the fire and rescue department dispatched firemen and the emergency medical rescue services to the location after receiving a call at 9.49pm.
“The aircraft landed safely and the passengers were not hurt,” the department added.
