PETALING JAYA: Hussein Omar Khan will become the new Selangor police chief from March 13, Bukit Aman has announced.
Hussein, formerly the deputy director of intelligence and operations in Bukit Aman’s criminal investigation department, will take over the post from S Sasikala Devi.
Sasikala was made acting Selangor police chief in January, temporarily helming the position after her predecessor Arjunaidi Mohamed retired.
Arjunaidi had served in the force for 35 years.
