PETALING JAYA:
Malaysia and Singapore are working together to share information and expertise as well as best practices in dealing with online scams more effectively, says communications and digital minister Fahmi Fadzil.

He said during the bilateral meeting with his counterpart from Singapore, Josephine Teo, in Kuala Lumpur today, they discussed in depth the direction of cooperation between Malaysia and Singapore in the fields of personal data protection, cybersecurity and digital economy.

Malaysia and Singapore had just renewed cooperation in the three fields with the signing of a memorandum of understanding on Jan 30, Bernama reported.

Fahmi also welcomed Teo and her delegation to the Muzika Ekstravaganza concert hosted by Malaysia tonight. The concert is jointly organised by Radio Television Malaysia and MediaCorp Suria Singapura.
