The skeletal remains of the man, with his throat slit, were found buried on a hillside behind a bungalow in Subang Jaya on Thursday.
The murder came to light after a male Indian national confessed to Ampang Jaya police that he had killed his countryman in May.
The four women, working with the Indian national at an old folks’ home operating from the bungalow, were then arrested.
Bernama reported Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat as saying that the suspects were aged between 25 and 35.
The suspects were two local women, an Indonesian woman and a woman from India. The woman from India was the wife of the murdered man.
Wan Azlan believed the killing was the result of the male suspect having an affair with the victim’s wife.
Police are now trying to locate the murder weapon.
