
“This was reported by specialists who treated them, we met all four of them. Alhamdulillah all of them are fine and there may be some who will be discharged tomorrow or the day after,” she said.
The minister had visited the landslide victims at the hospital along with Bandar Tun Razak MP Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, wife of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
Zaliha said the health ministry would provide psychosocial support treatment to the victims and their families to ensure their mental and emotional health are in good condition.
So far 24 people including several children are known to have died in the landslide, which took place at 2.42am on Friday. A section of a hillslope measuring 300m-long and 70m-high came crashing down on three campsites at Father’s Organic Farm near the Batang Kali road to Genting Highlands.
Nine other victims are still missing.
