This comes less than a day after MACC raided Invoke last night, according to Rafizi.

“As we speak, MACC is raiding Invoke for the second time,” said Rafizi at a press conference.

He said the customs department has also sent a notice that it will be paying the Invoke office a visit soon as part of its investigation into the data firm.

Rafizi, the Pakatan Harapan candidate for Pandan, claimed that the motive of the probe was to uncover dirt on him before polling day to sway voters away from PH.

He said all of Invoke’s ledgers were seized by MACC, cynically adding that this was a good time for the agency to “learn about start-ups and company valuation”.

At a ceramah last night, Rafizi revealed that Invoke was raided by MACC after a report was lodged against him over his declaration of assets.

He said his employees were questioned for up to seven hours. However, he reiterated that every sen in the company belonged to the company’s investors and him.

Last week, it was reported that MACC was investigating Rafizi’s assets declaration, after a report was lodged urging the agency to specifically look into Invoke.

Rafizi had declared RM18,851,350 in net assets as at Oct 31.
